Welcome to Kesher Torah Atlanta

In Hebrew “Kesher” means connection. Our mission at Kesher Torah is to build community and connect the Jews of Sandy Springs, as well as, to inspire and educate them to a deeper and more meaningful relationship to Judaism, irrespective of background, affiliation, denomination or level of observance.

Kesher Torah’s philosophy and goal is to enable all Jewish people and their children, to experience the joy and vibrancy of Judaism in a welcoming, meaningful environment. Our warm and diverse community is led by Orthodox traditions.

This Week at Kesher Torah Atlanta

Please plan to join us after morning services on Thursday, Friday, and Shabbat for a standing kiddush in the shul Sukkah. We are planning a fun event for Simchat Torah on Thursday the 24th, with dancing with the Torah and a seated community meal. More details can be found in the flyer below.

You will find a schedule for the remainder of the chagim in the flyer below, including Sukkot, Shmini Atzeres and Simchat Torah.

If you ordered a Lulav and Esrog set and have not yet picked it up, you will find it with your name on it at Kesher Torah in the Social Hall.

Chag Sukkot Sameach!

Eruv Tavshilin Reminder:
Please remember to make an Eruv Tavshilin today, Wednesday October 16th, in order to allow cooking and other preparations on Yom Tov for Shabbat. This can be done anytime during the day before the onset of Yom Tov by taking a challah and a hard-boiled egg or other cooked dish in your hand reciting this bracha and declaration. Store those food items away for Shabbat in order to eat them on Shabbat, October 19th. I recommend doing this earlier in the day today so that you don’t forget. Chag Sukkot Sameach!
